Official images of the Trophy room x Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” have arrived

After months and months of leaks and teasers, official images of the Trophy room x Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” have finally arrived and they are spectacular to say the least. Made in collaboration with Michael Jordan’s child Marcus, much more specifically his sneaker and apparel boutique that recognized back in 2016, these are inspired by the obvious “freeze-out” that was placed on his Airness during the 1985 NBA All-Star Games.

Painted in the same colour scheme as the legendary “Chicago”, the Trophy room Air Jordan 1 works on a clean white leather base while weathered red panels make their way around the shoe for a vintage vibe. A black Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, and this all sits on top of an off-white Air midsole that results in a seriously retro aesthetic.

This is then lined with a semi-transparent icy rubber outsole that harkens back to the Nike collaboration’s inspiration. To round it all off, MJ’s signature is scribbled around the heel, finalising the special edition AJ1.

Rumoured to drop on February 10th to coincide with the 2021 NBA All-Star Game, the Trophy room x Nike Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” will be limited to just 12,000 pairs. Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole provider for your best chance to cop, and in related news, the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Neutral Grey” is rumoured to be incredibly limited as well!
